GENESEE COUNTY, N.Y. – The LeRoy Police Department posted on their Facebook page that someone who had been drinking hit a patrol car.
An officer was on Wolcott Street on Wednesday, handling an unrelated traffic stop. His marked patrol car had its emergency lights on when a woman, who was drinking at a golf course, drove up and rear-ended him.
There were no injuries.
LeRoy police remind everyone to celebrate the 4th of July responsibly and don’t drink and drive.
