Apple Corps Ltd., the company that oversees the Beatles creative and business interests, announced on Tuesday, July 1 that British executive Tom Greene will be its new CEO starting on Sept. 25.
Greene’s previous experience includes top operating roles for the Harry Potter franchise, including spearheading Pottermore Publishing and Wizarding World Digital, a joint venture between Warner Bros. and Pottermore. Under Greene’s watch, the Harry Potter Fan Club has grown to include 50 million members thanks to immersive digital experiences. Greene remains on the board of Pottermore.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tom Greene as CEO. We have a lot of exciting plans and Tom’s experience and vision make him the perfect person to join us in making it all happen,” said Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison and Sean Ono Lennon in a statement.
