While recording the June 27 episode of Kailyn Lowry's podcast, Barely Famous, Sweetin noted that she has been married and divorced to Shaun Holguin, Cody Herpin, and Morty Coyle. She also referenced that she married her current husband, Mescal Wasilewski, in 2022. She quipped that she will remain married to Wasilewski because she's too old to get divorced again.
She said while her three divorces were "very messy," she was able to going through "a lot of self-discovery" because of those experiences. The actress also suggested that she had several marriages because she never wanted to have others' opinions about her affect her choices.
During the interview, Lowry asked if Sweetin believed her relationship caused her daughters, Beatrix, fathered by Coyle, and Zoie, fathered by Herpin, trauma. Sweetin said she wasn't sure if that was the case, but noted she did have some unkind romantic partners.
Wasilewski shared a picture of him enjoying a date night with Sweetin in a June 29 Instagram post.
Several fans complimented the couple in the post's comments section.
