ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 48-year-old man who is a prior sex offender has been sentenced to over 38 years in prison for raping a 14-year-old girl.
Kelvin Hunt was sentenced to 465 months in prison after being convicted of producing child pornography following a prior conviction and possessing a gun for drug trafficking.

On Feb. 2, 2024, investigators say Hunt went into the home of a 14-year-old in Rochester, and forcibly raped her. They also say Hunt then took the victim’s cell phone and took sexually explicit photos of her. After producing the pornographic images, Hunt forced the minor to another location, where he forcibly raped her again.
Law enforcement was able to locate Hunt on Feb. 4, 2024, took him into custody, and executed a search warrant on the hotel room he was staying in. Investigators say a loaded semi-automatic handgun, and approximately 71 grams of heroin were seized from the room.
In March of 1995, Hunt was convicted of sexual abuse and sentenced to two to six years in prison.
