Gypsy Rose Blanchard is done with parole and thinking about what’s next — but is a reality TV competition like Dancing With the Stars in her future?
Blanchard, 33, discussed the possibility of joining DWTS or The Masked Singer during part two of her appearance on iHeartRadio’s “MisSPELLING” podcast with Tori Spelling on Monday, June 30.
“I feel like I’m not talented with anything. I can’t sing, I can’t dance,” the My Time to Stand author told Spelling, 52.
However, Spelling didn’t believe it and asked Blanchard’s stepmom, Kristy, to chime in with her opinion.

“Kristy, is she talented at anything?” the podcast host asked, to which Kristy replied, “She got some moves, girl. She’s got personality for dance, so she’s got it.”
Blanchard admitted, “I got personality. Yeah.”
The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star said she’s never been approached by DWTS before, which took Spelling by surprise.
“I mean, I never put myself out there in that way. I was always trying to pick projects that focused on sharing my story,” Blanchard said. “So it’s like I never kind of dove into reality TV other than that.”
Spelling, who competed on DWTS season 33 in 2024, offered to text the show’s producer to ask about casting Blanchard in an upcoming season.

Blanchard completed more than one year of parole on Thursday, June 26, following her release from prison in December 2023. She had previously served roughly eight years of her 10-year sentence at the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri for her involvement in the 2015 murder of her mom, Dee Dee Blanchard.
During part one of Blanchard’s podcast appearance on Wednesday, June 25, she shared that she was excited to be a “free woman to the max” after her parole came to an end.
“I am completely moving forward with everything in my life, with motherhood, and I just have so much going for me that like nobody got anywhere in life by kept on looking in the rear view mirror,” Blanchard, who welcomed daughter Aurora with boyfriend Ken Urker in December 2024, said. “So I’m like, I just have my eyes forward.”

She also discussed the possibility of attending a trade school.
“I’ve always had an interest in hair, makeup, nails. So I would love to do something with a cosmetology license,” the Louisiana native continued. “There is a cosmetology school, there’s actually a couple in New Orleans that I have looked into.”
In part two, Blanchard also shared her plans to move in with Urker and travel together now that she isn’t restricted by the confines of her parole.
“This week, I can move in with Ken, and we could be a full-time family, and being off of parole, we can go on vacation anywhere, have no restrictions. So next month, we are going on vacation, and I cannot wait,” she teased. “We’re going to the beach.”
