Starting with skin care, let's dive into one of my favorites for hand care and protection against the sun. We love soaking in the great outdoors - from gardening to sunbathing at the beach - but this can take a toll on your hands. Moisture is essential on both humid and dry heat days. Youthful-looking hands can be attained with proper hydration. A great option is the Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Moisturizer ($42), which protects, moisturizes, and leaves skin glowing.
Pay attention to your cuticles - they need equal attention during a manicure service. Chlorine and saltwater can dehydrate the skin. Using a cuticle softener enriched with oils can help hydrate that area, making your manicure last longer. A high-quality, non-yellowing top coat acts as a protective barrier, preserving the true color of the polish while adding long-lasting shine. It also enhances the durability of the manicure, helping to prevent chips and discoloration caused by increased outdoor activities and UV exposure. The Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat ($10) works wonders in the summer.
I love to include a little touch of luxury in my manicures with the La Mer Renewal Oil ($150). It provides more than just hydration - it repairs, nourishes, and adds a healthy glow all at once. I incorporate this luxurious oil into my hand massages.
