Bicyclist fighting for life after being hit by car; Charges expected for driver ...Middle East

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A bicyclist has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on North Clinton Avenue near Ward Street on Thursday night.

Rochester Police say they assessed the driver for impairment and the driver will likely face charges. Officers responded to the crash around 10:30 p.m. and found the 52-year-old bicyclist injured.

The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and the driver remained on the scene. Check back for updates on the driver and the latest on the bicyclist’s medical condition.
