TEMPE — Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.’s Year 2 transformation continues to be a main talking point this offseason.
Monday’s media day photo highlighting his weight gain was the latest example, so much so that teammate Kyler Murray was questioning its authenticity.
“I thought it was AI and the pictures were fake,” Murray said while cracking a smile.
“Marv’s been in (the training facility) every day since the season ended. It doesn’t surprise me. He loves the game. The issue might be he’s getting too damn big.”

The wide receiver clearly hit the weight room hard this offseason after pacing the team with eight receiving touchdowns as a rookie.
Despite the scores, his rookie year fell short of expectations behind 62 catches and 885 yards.
Since then, it’s been about growing both his muscle mass and connection with Murray and the rest of his teammates.
“The sky’s a limit. This guy’s a freak athlete and does everything the right way,” tight end Trey McBride said during last week’s OTAs.
“He comes in, he works hard, stays about his business and is just a tremendous person, athlete, all the above. I’m excited to see where he can take his game this this next year.”
Harrison is joined in the wide receivers room by Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch and Zay Jones and newcomers Quez Watkins and Simi Fehoko, among others.
