However, Barr’s controversial post led ABC to cancel the Roseanne revival, which had been renewed for a second season. ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey called the tweet “abhorrent,” and Barr was swiftly fired, with Disney CEO Bob Iger reportedly approving the decision.
