One of the downsides to summer is how hot it can get at night. Even if you have the A/C running, some people just sleep hot and wake up drenched in sweat. Sometimes you need to change the kind of sheets you use and other times, it might just be changing which pajamas you wear in warmer weather. Cooling pajamas can be expensive, though, and that’s why Aldi’s upcoming drop is exciting. They’re releasing an affordable cooling pajama set that looks a lot like a Cozy Earth style that costs 17 times the price. From June 11 to June 17, Aldi will be selling their Serra Cooling Pajamas for just $9.99. You’ll be able to find them in the Aldi Finds aisle of local U.S. stores while supplies last. This is a classic short-sleeved shirt and shorts pajama combo. Serra Cooling Pajamas, $9.99 at Aldi
(Aldi)The shorts have a fake button opening when really it’s just an elastic waistband. They also have a cute accent line above the hem that matches (they’re both white). A bonus is that they have a side pocket too. These come in pale pink and are made with cooling fabric that consists of 93% rayon and 7% spandex.Aldi’s Serra Cooling Pajamas also come in two other styles and colors, if this one isn’t for you. There’s the blue PJs, which has a tank top and shorts. The tank has a curved neckline and a ruched band at the top that the rest flows down from, plus spaghetti straps. They have a blue and navy brushstroke pattern over a light blue background. Their green pair of pajamas is also a tank and shorts set, but slightly different. The tank top on this one is teal with a scoop neck and thick bungee straps (also loose-fitting). Women's Bamboo Stretch-Knit Pajama Shorts, $85 at Cozy Earth
(Cozy Earth)Going back to the pink Aldi cooling pajamas, they look a lot like another set of PJs on the market from luxury bedding brand, Cozy Earth. Even though they are mainly known for their bamboo luxury bedding and sheets, they do have stylish bamboo-based pajamas and loungewear as well.They sell their tops and bottoms separately, and their Women's Bamboo Stretch-Knit Pajama Shorts are very similar to the shorts in Aldi’s pink PJs. They cost $85 and are made with 95% “premium viscose from bamboo” and 5% spandex. It’s a smooth fabric and is meant to keep you cool at night, like Aldi’s. It has a looser fit and even has a similar white accented hem. This one also has an elastic waistband, though it does have a drawstring to adjust it. It comes in several colors, but their Blossom is a very similar pale pink to Aldi’s as well.
