A man reportedly stabbed another man during a confrontation at his home early Thursday morning before leaving the scene.
Police said they received calls at around 4:50 a.m. to reports of a stabbing in front of a residence on the 6400 block of Lanston St. in the Linda Vista area.
Lanston StreetThe San Diego Police Department said that the suspect stabbed the 31-year-old man twice in the upper back and shoulder with a knife during an argument.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect left the scene after getting into the front passenger seat of a small white Mercedes SUV. Police described him as a Black man in his 30s with a bald head. He was reportedly wearing a brown jacket at the time.
The cause of the stabbing was under investigation. It is unclear what type of relationship the men had prior to the confrontation but according to Onscene.Media, the two do know one another.
Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the stabbing to call the San Diego Police Department or San Diego Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
