TICKET prices for the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky matchup are dropping dramatically following star Caitlin Clark’s injury – and it proves a simple fact.
It was revealed on Monday that the 2024 Rookie of the Year Clark will be out for at least two weeks due to a left quad strain.

But it will also be an issue for fans who want to sell tickets to the contest between the Fever and Angel Reese’s Sky on June 7.
The game would’ve been a massive spectacle between Clark and Reese as the duo have been part of a rivalry that dates back to their college days.
The pair’s rivalry even ignited in their meeting earlier this month.
Tickets to last season’s final regular-season game between the Fever and Sky went for $165, which was the most expensive for a game in WNBA history.
The tickets for this season’s first game between the two franchises were selling for around $75.
However, just a day after Clark’s injury was revealed, tickets to the June 7 game are selling for around $35.
The ticket prices for that showdown prove that Clark is the “star of the show” and a blow to Reese, who said last season that the NCAA all-time leading scorer isn’t the only player the fans want to see.
Clark and Reese’s game made history as the most-watched WNBA broadcast in ESPN’s history with an average of 2.7 million viewers.
The contest was overshadowed by a clash on the court that involved Clark and Reese.
Reese was knocked to the ground by Clark during a play.
“You’re crazy as f***,” Reese could be heard shouting to Clark.
The refs would hand a flagrant foul to Clark.
But Clark and the Fever would get the last laugh as they beat the Sky 93-58.
It’s not known how serious Clark’s injury is, as the Fever’s statement said that she would miss a “minimum of two weeks” and added that further updates “will be provided, as available, following re-evaluation.”

She last played in the Fever’s 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty on Saturday.
Indiana will be without Clark in their next game when they take on the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
Clark has led the team in points (19) and assists (9.2) per game.
