BROCK Purdy hit the jackpot on a new contract with the San Francisco 49ers.
The quarterback agreed a $265 million deal over five years with the Bay Area franchise.

That number is more than the $45 million Patrick Mahomes is paid every season by the Kansas City Chiefs.
But Mahomes is still top of the football tree when it comes to total contract value.
He signed a 10-year deal with the Chiefs worth a mammoth $450 million back in 2020.
The total value made it the largest contract in US sports history at the time.
And Mahomes is a long way out in front of his rivals in that regard.
According to Spotrac, Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen is second with $330 million.
Allen’s six-year contract was agreed in March and pays him an average of $55 million per season.
Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence are both paid $275 million.
Purdy’s new deal with the 49ers rounds out the top five on the list.
He is just ahead of Los Angeles Chargers signal caller Justin Herbert on his $262.5 million deal.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is paid $260 million while Super Bowl champion Jalen Hurts earns $255 million at the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dak Prescott’s current contract with the Dallas Cowboys is worth $240 million.
And Kyler Murray rounds out the top 10 with his $230.5 million deal at the Arizona Cardinals.
Purdy was a seventh-round NFL Draft pick in 2022.

But the 25-year-old has cashed in on his strong series of performances under center.
Purdy led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in the 2023 season.
