The Mendocino County 4-H community is rolling out the green carpet to honor the dedicated volunteers who help make local youth development possible.
On Thursday, June 12, from 6-9 p.m., community members are invited to attend the first ever “Hands & Hearts 4-H Volunteer Appreciation Dinner” at Barra of Mendocino Winery in Redwood Valley.
This adults-only event promises an evening of gratitude, good food, and community spirit. 4-H volunteers will enjoy a complimentary dinner, while other guests can join the celebration for $25 per ticket. Attendees can also enjoy wine available for purchase from Barra Winery, along with a silent auction, with all proceeds supporting future 4-H youth and adult award ceremonies.
“Our volunteers are the backbone of the 4-H program,” said Jessica Farfan, 4-H Community Education Specialist. “This evening is all about recognizing their tireless efforts and the incredible impact they have on our youth and community.”
RSVPs are due by June 1, and guests are encouraged to complete the online registration form and submit payment via check or cash to the UCCE Office in Ukiah.
