Sonoma crews rescue dog stranded on rock dam ...Middle East

(KRON) – The Sonoma County Fire District tackles a “tricky” task on Friday. A dog was stranded on the rock dam at Memorial Beach.

The Healdsburg Fire Department, the Healdsburg Police Department and Sonoma County Animal Services collaborated for the rescue.

After an unsuccessful attempt, the department’s rescue swimmer dove into the water and returned the puppy back to shore. 

Sonoma County Fire said they are happy to report a successful rescue. The dog was returned to its human.
