Police said four of the five men were Iranian nationals, while the other man’s nationality is yet to be confirmed. All five remain in police custody.
“This is a fast-moving investigation and we are working closely with those at the affected site to keep them updated,” said Commander Dominic Murphy, Head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
The men arrested were two aged 29, one aged 40, one aged 46 and the final man’s age is as of yet unknown.
