Officers first uncovered Hyatt's alleged possession of multiple voyeuristic photos featuring people in a restroom on Feb. 21, according to the multi-jurisdictional All Crimes Enforcement Team, which includes officers and deputies from Routt County, Moffat County, Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Craig and more.

The task force kept investigating and learned the images were captured in the women's restroom of Jimmy John's located at 1755 Central Park Dr., Unit 131, Steamboat Springs. The task force interviewed Hyatt, who confessed to placing his cell phone under the bathroom sink on 10 separate occasions during 2024 to record the women's toilet area.

Investigators reported finding 51 images of approximately 33 victims connected to Hyatt. Due to the camera's position, the victims' faces are largely unidentifiable and all pictured appear to be adults.

Hyatt is scheduled to appear in court next on April 8 in Routt County.
