San Diego firefighters Saturday worked on putting out a blaze at a two-story single-family home in Torrey View Estates.
The fire, in the 4000 block of Lago di Grata Circle, was reported at 1:52 p.m. Crews focused their efforts on the home’s roof and attic, according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department official.
While there were no reported injuries, the home’s chimney was damaged. The official added that firefighters faced complications caused by solar panels on the roof.
Lago di Grata Circle was temporarily closed to oncoming traffic. The department had 34 personnel on scene, along with five engines, two ladder trucks and one ambulance.
