THE final of the World Grand Prix has been decided – with Stuart Bingham to face Neil Robertson for £180,000 on Sunday!
Defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan was due to return from his snooker hiatus in Hong Kong, but Rocket’s comeback won’t be until the World Championship later this year.

When is the World Grand Prix snooker 2025?
The tournament will take place between Tuesday, March 4 and Sunday, March 9. The World Grand Prix will take place in Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Sports Park, and it will be the first time it will be held outside the UK – the first in the country since 1989.What happened to Judd Trump and Shaun Murphy last time out and will Joe O’Connor play?
Joe O’Connor was the big-name conqueror in last week’s major snooker event, World Open, in China – defeating Trump and Murphy to reach the final.
Trump and Murphy suffered shock exits to O’Connor in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, respectively.
The Leicester-born cueist failed to go all the way in Yushan after John Higgins got the better of him in a thrilling final.
The Wizard of Wishaw ended a FOUR-YEAR wait for a ranking title with his brilliant win.
As for O’Connor, he will not play at this week’s World Grand Prix snooker event as he is ranked outside the top 32 from the one‑year ranking list at 40th in the world.
World Grand Prix snooker 2025 format
First-round action will begin on Tuesday, March 4 and will be played across two days
The following rounds will take place on the subsequent days, with the final on Sunday, March 9.
The order of rounds is:
Round of 32 Round of 16 Quarter-finals Semi-finals FinalThe first round and last 16 matches will be best of 7 frames, while the quarters will be best of 9.
For the semi-finals, matches will be best of 11 frames, with the final best of 19.

The World Open is broadcast live on TNT Sports. On Thursday, February 28, Eurosport channels were closed down meaning TNT Sports is the only TV channel broadcasting the World Grand Prix.
