Virat Kohli played a magnificent innings for the India National Cricket Team in the high-pressure game against the Australia National Cricket Team. The batter bailed the team out of trouble when they were reeling at 43/2 after losing both Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma.
Virat Kohli first slammed a solid half-century and then, after that, kept his focus. He calculated the chase brilliantly and with the way he was batting, he looked all set for a big ton. However, the rush of the blood saw him gifting his wicket to the opposition.
Adam Zampa bowled a flighted googly outside off, to which Virat Kohli read it well and got down on one leg to slog it over cow corner. He didn't get the proper connection as the ball came off the bottom part of the bat and went much straighter, which was caught easily by Ben Dwarshuis, who came in from long-on to gather it with both hands.
Gautam Gambhir was seen telling Virat Kohli: "Arey yaar kya zarurat thi, maar toh raha tha woh" (There wasn't a need for you to hit, KL Rahul was hitting).
