At least one person is dead and two others are in the hospital after a Sunday morning crash involving a pedestrian, police said.
Denver police officials said at 11:20 a.m. that three people were sent to the hospital after a crash involving a pedestrian near 22nd and Lawrence streets. Less than an hour later, at least one of the crash victims had died from their injuries.
“This is now being investigated as a fatal crash,” the police department said on social media in an 11:50 a.m. update.
The intersection, in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood, is between Coors Field and Broadway.
