Ukiah Valley Fire Authority Capt. Robb Ramseier explains the workings of a fire engine to newly elected Ukiah City Council member Heather Criss, as she participates in a “ride- along” with the UVFA last weekend. During the eight-hour tour of duty, Criss learned about medical aid calls, daily trainings, and how the city is protected by the UVFA.
