During registration, any team that included at least one player who ranked in the Ultimate 500 during Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 earned a direct spot in Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Creating a path for new talent to rise to the top, the emerging players will have the chance to showcase their skills, gain competitive experience, and potentially rise to the highest levels of PUBG MOBILE Esports.

From the 13th-16th February, the first round of Open Qualifiers will see the first-time contenders giving it their best shot in 12 matches spread across four days. These brave new challengers will be put through their paces, fighting tooth and nail to secure a spot among the top 128 teams to progress to the second round of the Open Qualifiers, and later the Open Qualifier: Final.
The Open Qualifiers will pave the way for the strongest teams from each region to move forward into the 2025 PMGO Prelims, where the final twelve will compete with successful teams from the 2025 PMGO Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers. From there, the breakout players will have the exciting opportunity to take on some of the most formidable PUBG MOBILE Esports pros, in a high-stakes showdown, to see if the new-generation can topple the seasoned pros in the 2025 PMGO Main Event.
Four teams are already confirmed for the 2025 PMGO Main Event following their top performances in the 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC), including Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage, bringing elite-level competition straight to the tournament’s final stage. They will be joined by four more professional teams, including the champion of the 2025 PMSL SEA Spring, the champion of the 2025 PMGO Korea Qualifier, the highest-scoring team from the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season, and one team from Japan.
