Update: Bay Area Shorelines under a wind advisory until Friday morning ...Middle East

Bay Area Shorelines is included in an updated wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 1:37 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.

The NWS San Francisco CA said, “West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.”

“The combination of wind and moist soils will increase the risk for downed trees,” the NWS said.

The full list of affected locations includes:

Marin Coastal Range Sonoma Coastal Range Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore San Francisco Peninsula Coast Santa Cruz Mountains Northern Monterey Bay Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast San Francisco County
