Sacramento Metro Fire responded to Scott Road at Deer Creek after a Jeep became disabled in rushing water around 6:45 p.m.
She was pulled out of the water safely and medics evaluated her. The car was also removed from the water.
Scott Road is closed from Payen Road and Latrobe Road. Crews said to respect road closure signs and wait for water to go down.
Deer Creek is about 30 miles east of Sacramento in the Deer Creek Hills Nature Preserve.
