The Chicago Bulls will finish Wednesday night’s game without Patrick Williams.
The team ruled out Patrick Williams in the third quarter of their matchup with the Detroit Pistons due to a knee injury. According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Sports Network, Williams walked to the sideline, threw his towel to the ground in frustration, and left to the locker room.

He was able to clock 18 minutes off the bench, finishing with 3 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal, and 1 block. The forward’s physicality on the defensive end in the first half helped Chicago keep things close after their embarrassing 40-point loss on Tuesday night.
The Bulls are surely hoping that Williams will only need this upcoming All-Star break to heal up. He has already suffered a 10-game absence earlier this season due to foot inflammation. Since returning from that, however, Williams has appeared in 29 straight games.
