The Gastamo Group’s reach into the Denver suburbs is growing quickly as the restaurant company prepares to open the newest location of its Homegrown Tap & Dough concept in the town of Parker in February.

The pasta-and-pizza restaurant will take over the space of the former Brick House at 19320 Cottonwood Drive. “We really wanted to create a spot that feels like home for friends and families to gather, and we’re so excited to join this amazing community,” Jean-Philippe Failyau, co-founder and CEO of Gastamo Group, said in a statement.

This is Homegrown’s fifth outpost, but the Gastamo Group, which first made a name for itself in 2009 with multiple Park Burgers (it currently has three in Denver as well as a Park & Co.), also operates Perdida Kitchen, a Mexican restaurant with locations in Denver and Westminster; and Lady Nomada, another Mexican concept with spots in Arvada and Lakewood.

Gastamo opened its first Homegrown in Washington Park in 2011 before adding locations in Littleton and Olde Town Arvada. Late last year, it opened a fourth Homegrown at 1257 W. 120th Ave. in Westminster. That space also houses Perdida.

Homegrown’s menu includes hand-tossed pizzas, pasta dishes such as shrimp pesto rigatoni and creamy tomato gnocchi, salads, wings and sandwiches. Its tap list has more than a dozen beers from state breweries such as New Belgium Brewing, This Old Mine and Avery Brewing Co.
