Resurrection Christian 81, Heritage Christian 36: The Resurrection Christian boys basketball team won its 14th straight game. The Cougars, the second ranked Class 3A team in the state — Windsor Charter was No. 1 as of Jan. 27 — beat Heritage Christian 81-36 in a 3A Patriot League game Thursday night in Loveland. Resurrection Christian is 14-0 this season and 5-0 in the 3A Patriot League. The Cougars’ week also included a 59-42 win Tuesday over Windsor Charter (3-1 in the league and 13-1 overall).

Fort Lupton 89, Lake County 49: The Bluedevils’ record improved to 11-4 after a nonconference win over Lake County on Thursday.

Belleview Christian 55, Union Colony Prep 52: Kentrell Beasley scored 17 points for Belleview Christian, and Justus Cunningham added 12 points in the Bruins’ Mile High League win over the Timberwolves. Belleview Christian is 4-3 in the league and 6-7 overall. Union Colony is 3-5 and 7-7.

Bishop Machebeuf 79, Dayspring Christian Academy 36: The Buffaloes remained undefeated in the Mile High League with a win over Dayspring in Denver. Bishop Machebeuf is 8-0 in the league and 10-2 overall. Dayspring Academy is 2-5 in the league and 4-10 overall.

Girls basketball

Bishop Machebeuf 32, Dayspring Christian Academy 31: Penelope Mikita scored 11 points for the Buffaloes in a tight Mile High League win over Dayspring Christian on Thursday. Bishop Machebeuf is 4-4 in the league and 5-8 overall. Dayspring is 5-2 and 6-8.

Union Colony 65, Belleview Christian 18: Union Colony is 2-5 in the Mile High League and 6-6 overall after a league win over Belleview Christian. Belleview Christian is 1-5 and 2-3.

Boys wrestling

Greeley Central 44, Wellington 36: Daniel Romero (106), Benjamin Gomez (113), Noah Garcia-Salazar (150) and Patryk Lesnicki won by pins in the Wildcats win.

Greeley Central 40, Northridge 38: Bradin Grafel (190) and Rogelio Serna-Vazquez (215) pinned their Grizzlies’ opponents late in the match to help the Wildcats pull out a dual win.

Wellington 52, Northridge 28: Rene Ornelas Arreola (106) and Leland Camacho (126) won by technical fall, and Oliver Fechner (174) and Hugo Garza Jr. (215) won on pins for Northridge.

Severance 58, Timnath 24: The Silver Knights won 10 of the first 11 bouts in a win over Timnath. Simon Carter (106), Drake VomBaur (113), Andre Salinas (132), Reed Green (150), Joshua Abram (157) and Jake Mitchell (165) won by pins.

Severance 64, Berthoud 15: Severance won 11 of 14 bouts in a win over Berthoud.

Greeley West 62, Fossil Ridge 16: Ben Feinberg (106), Alfonso Aragon (120), Julian Chavez (126), Giovanni Portales (132) Marcelo Marquez (150), Tagen Becher (157), Alex Morales (165) and Dominic Sandoval (285) all won bouts for the Spartans.

University 40, Estes Park 30: Xavier Gonzales (106), Blake Stralo (126), Caden Miller (144) and Kameron Fuller (165) all won matches for the Bulldogs.

Windsor 45, Eaton 28: Owen Schaefer (106), Maddox Lechman (120), Adrian Czyszczon (150), Robert Kendall (165), Santi Fernandez (175), Evan Perez (215) and Cash Carson (285) won matches for the Wizards.
