ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is recovering after being hit by a car while crossing Nort Clinton Avenue near Hoeltzer Street on Friday night.

It happened around 7:20 p.m. An ambulance took the man in his 40s to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Rochester Police say the driver remained on the scene and did cooperate. Police say the driver will be issued traffic tickets.
