ANA Ortiz has teased an Ugly Betty reboot 15 years after its axe.
Actress Ana, 53, who played Hilda Suarez in the Channel 4 comedy, discussed a possible revival while appearing on a U.S. talk show.

“I literally just texted with Michael Urie. I see Mark Indelicato probably every day. America [Ferrera] is my son’s godmother. Judith Light’s husband is my son’s godfather, because we got two for the price of one with Judith and Robert [Desiderio, her husband].”
“We’re very, very close and we’re all really wanting to do a reunion.”
Ugly Betty was a must-watch show when it aired between 2006 and 2010.
The comedy-drama followed Betty Suarez, who somehow landed a job at a fashion magazine despite her own questionable sense of style.
Viewers immediately fell in love with Betty and her family and work colleagues, even though they could be backstabbers.
The show ended in April 2010 after four series but is available for fans new and old to enjoy since Starz joined Disney+ in 2021.
Host Andy Cohen also revealed that producers had received the same question from viewers eager to know if a Devious Maids reboot might be possible.
Ana replied: “Again, those are all my sisters. One hundred percent we would love to do a reunion, for sure.”
The TLC series, in which Ana took on the lead role of Marisol Suarez, was an English-language adaptation of the Colombian telenovela Yo Soy Betty, La Fea.
It chronicled the lives of four Latina maids working for wealthy Beverly Hills families, uncovering secrets, mysteries, and crimes behind their employers’ glamorous facades.
It also starred Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, and Judy Reyes, with a notable supporting cast.
