Work on the Urban Core Rehabilitation and Transportation project will continue this week, city of Ukiah officials announced.

In a press release, city officials described the planned work as causing “lane/street closures and traffic disruptions on Perkins Street and Main Street near the Perkins/Main intersection, (which are) scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 2  and Friday, Jan. 3.”

Other work this week includes:

Monday, Dec. 30 and Tuesday, Dec. 31: Potholing will occur throughout the project area on Main Street. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025: No work scheduled (New Year’s Day). Thursday, Jan. 2 and Friday, Jan. 3: Main Street Water Main Installation: Main Street near the Perkins Street intersection, which will include Road/Lane Closures: A section of Main Street will be closed north of the Perkins intersection. Eastbound lanes of Perkins Street from State Street to Main Street will be closed. Westbound lanes will remain open with controlled traffic expected near the Perkins/Main St. intersection. Controlled traffic and intermittent closures on Main Street near the Perkins Street intersection
