The Pioneer Woman host officially became a grandmother earlier this month with the birth of her granddaughter, Sofia. Alex and her husband, Mauricio Scott, welcomed their daughter’s arrival on Dec. 18.
A week after Sofia was born, the new parents treated fans with a behind-the-scenes look at their trip to the hospital. The video, which Alex and Mauricio shared in a joint post on Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 24, began with Alex explaining that they went to a doctor’s appointment on Dec. 16, when they learned that they would be having their baby the following day.
