Pakistan National Cricket Team batter Babar Azam faced a shocking snub from the Test squad during the England series. The premier batter was dropped in the middle of the series as he played the opening game and then wasn't named in the team for the last two games.
Babar Azam faced a lot of criticism for his poor form in the Tests, and there were a lot of calls related to his omission. Although the Pakistan Cricket Board didn't admit they dropped the batter, the statement from them was a hint that the batter had been dropped.

Babar has now been named in the Pakistan squad for the two-match Test series against South Africa National Cricket Team. The series will be a great opportunity for him to reclaim his place in the team again and reply to all critics in style. The series gets underway from 26th December.
