CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Two other men have been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that hit a school bus with children on board, according to court and jail records.
On Monday, Dec. 16, officials say a Charlotte Mecklenburg School bus coming from Albemarle Road Middle School was struck by a bullet on East W.T. Harris Blvd near Idlewild Road North. Thirty students and the school bus driver were on board when the incident happened. Two children were hit by broken glass, but no one was shot.

The shots hit the school bus twice; a gray 2018 Infiniti Q50 occupied by one of the male victims was hit three times; and a white Chevrolet Express van with two other men was struck twice.
On Friday, Dec. 20, a judge also denied bond for Jaheim Boone. Both Boone and Lewis-Bynum are scheduled to be back in court on Thursday, Jan. 9.
Joshua Woods (MCSO)Also on Friday, police arrested 21-year-old Joshua Antonyo Woods, marking the fourth arrest in the case. He is charged with the following:
Three counts of Assault With a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Felony Conspiracy Probation ViolationAccording to his arrest warrant, Woods shot at Boone and two other men with a desire to kill them. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Dec. 23.
