A heavy Chicago police presence has gathered in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the city’s West Side Tuesday night. According to Total Traffic, the law enforcement response is centered around an area near the intersection of Grand and Pulaski, near Jimmy’s Red Hots restaurant. According to Chicago police, a “suspicious object” was discovered inside of a bag at the location, prompting an investigation by the CPD’s bomb squad.
