Units were dispatched just after noon Saturday to 4136 35th St., less than a block from Edison Elementary School, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. Crews arrived on the scene by 12:05 and had wrapped up roughly two hours later. A total of 33 personnel were assigned to the fire, including five engines, two trucks and one medic, officials said. The American Red Cross also responded. No injuries or evacuations were reported. The cause of the fire was unknown.
