Egypt’s Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled el-Anany attended on Saturday the reopening of the tomb of King Ramses at the Valley of the Kings on Luxor’s west bank, after the tomb underwent restoration. The reopening came during a visit by Anany to the area accompanied by the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziri. In a ministry statement, Waziri said that floors of the tomb restored and damage from birds and bats was scrubbed from the walls. He added that inscriptions were also restored and cleaned.
