Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Thursday announced that 101 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, adding that 48 coronavirus patients recovered and 8 others passed away. In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus infections registered in Syria has reached 11,344 cases up till now, of which 5,296 cases have recovered and 704 have passed away. The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first coronavirus death was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
