Narayanpur:  In a major anti-Maoist operation, at least five Maoists were killed during a fierce encounter with security forces in the dense forests of the Abujhmad region in Chhattisgarh Narayanpur district on Saturday. The gunfight took place after security personnel received reports about the presence of Maoists in the area. According to officials, a joint team of security forces launched a search operation early Saturday morning.
