CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person is dead from a shooting in east Charlotte Sunday afternoon. Officials say the shooting happened in the 1600 block of Eastcrest Drive. Medical personnel said they found one person dead at the scene. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has now labeled this incident a homicide investigation.
