(KRON) – The Antioch Police Department has arrested a man after a nearly eight-hour standoff, the department announced on Saturday. Antioch PD was alerted to reports that a woman had been assaulted, kidnapped, and robbed by the suspect in the 1000 block of Stonecrest Drive. At 3:43 p.m., the responding officers located a 47-year-old female victim inside the residence. Antioch PD said officers believed the suspect, later identified as 61-year-old Tony Lamar Watson, was armed and barricaded himself inside the home.
