(KRON) – An Oakland man was charged with fatally shooting Jennifer Kelly Jordan and the attempted murder of a man at a San Leandro Liquor store earlier this year, District Attorney Pamela Price’s office announced Friday. On Feb. 9, 2024, Leo Deshon Evans shot Jordan and another man following an argument outside of a San Leandro Liquor store, according to the district attorney’s office. Both suspects were taken to the hospital after police responded. Jordan, 41, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
