McDONALD — Janet Edwards, 81, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. She was born May 15, 1943, in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of William and Ruth Johnston Nesbitt. She retired from Litco Manufacturing and was a member of First Christian Church in Girard. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Edwards Sr. and Brian Edwards; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, William Edwards. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, at Open Door Community Church. Interment will be in Green Haven cemetery, Canfield. Arrangements were handled by Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard.
