(KRON) – Multiple counterfeit $20 bills were found on a Vallejo resident driving a stolen vehicle, according to the Colma Police Department.  Colma police received an automatic license plate reader notification that a vehicle that was reported stolen to the Mateo County Sheriff’s Office was entering the city at 12:56 p.m. on Thursday.  Officers located the vehicle at Serra Shopping Center’s parking lot. Colma PD said a man, later identified as Vallejo resident Kendric Prudhomme, returned to the vehicle. Police said Prudhomme tried to buy merchandise at a nearby store with counterfeit bills.
