(KRON) – The Vacaville Police Department arrested two women for grand theft of a grocery store earlier this month, the department announced on Friday. Vacaville PD was notified of two women fleeting through the emergency exit doors of WinCo Foods on Davis Street. According to police, the suspects stuffed their shopping carts with merchandise. The store’s loss prevention officers informed police of the suspect’s description and the getaway vehicle. Police located the suspect’s sedan and said merchandise was in “plain view’ and more stolen items were in the truck.
