EL CERRITO, Calif. (KRON) -- One person was injured after a shooting Tuesday morning in El Cerrito, the El Cerrito Police Department (ECPD) said. The shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Elm Street near Summit K2 school. Officers arrived at the scene and located one person who had been shot, according to ECPD. They shortly detained a person who was identified as the shooter. The victim was airlifted to a hospital and is currently in critical condition, police said.
