WARREN — A 17-year-old girl has been detained and is facing multiple charges in connection with the theft of an ambulance from the Warren Township Fire Station and a break-in at the facility. Warren police Chief Benjamin Harrell said the teen was arrested Oct. 1 at a residence in Akron by the Akron Police Department and spent at least two days detained there before being transported back to Trumbull County. The teen faces felony charges of theft of a vehicle and breaking and entering. The ambulance, which was reported stolen the morning of Sept. 27, was recovered on the South Side of Youngstown later that day.
