Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been spotted enjoying a pub date in the Cotswolds. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out together in what appears to be their first public sighting in the U.K. since their move from the U.S. On Oct. 1, Meghan and Harry were photographed holding hands as they arrived at the pub, according to photos published by The Sun.
They looked as loved-up as ever as they enjoyed lunch at the pub, where they reportedly tucked into meat pie with mashed potatoes and classic fish and chips.
The couple kept things casual for their date. Meghan wore a black long-sleeve knit top with jeans and white sneakers. She carried her phone in one hand and appeared to leave the handbag at home, finishing the look with oversized sunglasses. Harry also wore dark sunglasses and a baseball cap, along with a blue T-shirt, medium-wash jeans and a zip-up jacket.
The couple was photographed looking at the menu board outside the 16th-century pub, located around the corner from the Beckhams in Great Tew, Oxfordshire.
Meghan and Harry, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, returned to the U.K. in late August, although the family still keeps its home in Montecito, California.
According to BBC News, a spokesperson for the Sussexes said in August that the family’s chickens—which have regularly appeared on Meghan’s Instagram—would remain in California. Their dogs, Mia and Pula, however, were making the move with them.
Last week, Prince Harry traveled to Toronto, Canada, where he took part in a charity event and met with veterans.
