Guwahati: In a move that is likely to cause some hardship to the people of the state, mobile Internet services were suspended in Assam on Sunday for eight hours from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. This has been done to ensure there are no malpractices in the direct recruitment examination that began at 9 A.M. on Sunday in more than 800 centres across the state.
