WARREN — Shirley Ann Cross, 95, went to meet her Heavenly Father on Friday morning, Sept. 6, 2024. She was born March 27, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Norman W. and Willa Frances Harrison Tilley. The family moved to Swissdale, Pa., when she was 6 years old. She attended Swissvale School and graduated in 1947. In 1949, Shirley Tilley married Okey Cross of West Farmington. They met at Conneaut Lake Park at the Blue Streak roller coaster. Shirley had been an Avon representative for six years and then sold Tupperware for 29 years. She loved to send cards and letters to all her friends. Some would affectionately call her the “Card Lady.” She also loved to telephone them. Shirley
